Immigration Services
Immigration Services at the Academic Personnel Office (APO) supports all foreign nationals employed or conducting research at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ – including postdocs, undergraduate/graduate research trainees and visiting professors.
For tenure-stream academic and librarian staff, and full-time ranked Contract Academic Staff (CAS), Immigration Services will assist them in securing the necessary immigration authorizations to work at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨. When the recruitment process is complete, Immigration Services will initiate the process by contacting the selected candidate.
For all other staff and invited researchers – including postdocs and undergraduate/graduate research trainees is initiated by the recruiting unit or Department. The unit and the staff/invited researcher can contact their Immigration Advisor at any point in the process for support.
Students working on campus who need to obtain a confirmation of maintained status, should follow the Maintained Status Procedure. For all other immigration questions, students should contact International Student Services for assistance.
