Postgraduate medical trainees are able to complete the following elective rotations:

• At a site accredited for a given program to ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨ – these rotations are arranged at the program level without applying through the PGME Office.

• At a site accredited for a given program to another Quebec University – these are called Quebec Inter-University Electives and trainees apply through the (see Instruction Guide).

• At a site in Quebec not accredited for a given program to any Quebec University OR at a site that is outside of Quebec/Canada – these electives are called Non-Accredited Electives and a non-accredited site elective request form needs to be filled and sent to the PGME Residency CoordinatorÌý(²õ±ð±ðÌýInstruction Guide).

The PGME Residency Coordinator must receive the request at least 2 months before the start of the start of the elective. Please note, requests made with shorter notice will not be accepted.
