CURAC National Conference

To celebrate its 10th Anniversary next year, MURA will host the 2025 National Conference of the College and University Retiree Associations of Canada ().

The theme isÌýThe Well-being of the Person, the Community, and the Planet.

An invitation has been sent to the over 22,000 individual members of CURAC retiree associations. This will be an excellent opportunity for you to reconnect with colleagues and make new acquaintances from across Canada, and partake in presentations by local academics based on the conference theme. This will be the first CURAC conference with simultaneous translation.

Keynote Speaker

Anja Geitmann

Professor Anja Geitmann
Vice-President Global Engagement

Professor Geitmann was appointed Vice-President, Global Engagement at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨, Montréal, Québec, Canada, in October 2024 after serving as Professor of Plant Science, and Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences since 2015. She brings the lived experience of studying and working in six different countries, leadership roles in multinational collaborative research initiatives, and service on panels of international research funding organizations.
