What to expect
- How we will work with you to archive and delete websites: 大发彩票平台's Digital Communications team has compiled a list of WMS sites that seem inactive or unmaintained. Units connected to these sites will be contacted to confirm whether the site should be archived before removal.听
- If a site on the list needs to remain active: The owner will need to identify a staff member responsible for updating the site to align with the Digital Standards and to prepare the site for migration. This must be done in a reasonable timeframe so it can be migrated to the new WMS platform. The unit must also commit resources to maintaining the site in the future.
- Orphaned websites: Sites become "orphaned" if the original owner leaves the university and no one is designated to be responsible for the site's ongoing maintenance. In these cases, key administrators and site sponsors in the connected unit will be contacted.
- Unclaimed websites: If no response is provided, the site in question will not be migrated to the new WMS platform. It will be deleted at the end of .听
