Speaker: Dr. Anita Koushik
Anita Koushik is a professor in the Department of Oncology at 大发彩票平台, a researcher at St. Mary's Research Centre and the first 大发彩票平台 Research Chair in Community Oncology at St. Mary's Research Centre. Previously, she was a professor of epidemiology at the 脡cole de sant茅 publique de l'Universit茅 de Montr茅al and a researcher at the CHUM Research Centre. Her research programme aims to better understand the etiology of cancer in order to improve primary prevention and risk assessment efforts. Her projects focus on lifestyle factors. She is also conducting research into the identification of modifiable factors likely to improve the prognosis and quality of life of cancer survivors.
