Vue d'ensemble

Historique : Examines the emergence of a modern nation state in the Balkans out of the Ottoman empire and its evolution until its present status as a member state of the European Union. A story of Greece and Greeks within the broader regional and global context.

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2024-2025 academic year.

  • Prerequisite(s): HIST 214, HIST 215, HIST 226 or HIST 262 recommended.

  • 2-3 film screenings held in a continuous 3-hour slot.

  • Screenings will replace lecture hours the week of screenings.
