CIVE 418 Design Project (4 unités)

Vue d'ensemble

Génie civil : A team-based capstone design project carried out under the supervision of an experienced engineer. Involves a design project in one or more of the subdisciplines; environmental engineering, water resources engineering, transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering or structural engineering. Includes the definition of the problem, contains an iterative solution-finding process, and results in a final design. Addresses professionalism, as well as, economic, environmental, societal, safety and regulatory aspects of design. Contains the writing of a technical report and oral presentations. Emphasis is placed on the completion of a project of professional quality replicating the design process commonly implemented by practicing engineers.
