Program Requirements
The Graduate Diploma is a one-year, course-based, 30-credit program in Mining Engineering. The program offers professional development education in mining engineering in a formal manner.

Overview
Mining & Materials Engineering : The basics of laboratory safety in mining and materials engineering laboratories. Mandatory safety orientation (administration, contacts, fire, waste, emergency procedures) and official WHMIS training.

1. For Masters鈥� students the course must be completed by the end of the first year of the student's enrollment in a Masters' degree program. Likewise, for Doctoral students the course must be completed by the end of the first year of the student's enrollment in a Doctoral degree program.
