Mechanical Engineering : Fundamentals of thermal radiation. Black body thermal radiation. Radiative properties of real materials. Surface-to-surface radiation exchange. Radiation with conduction and convection. Radiation in absorbing, emitting and scattering media. Numerical methods to solve radiative transfer equation. Solar thermal energy systems. Solar collectors. Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) technology.
