S茅bastien Jodoin and Helge Dedek to serve as Associate Dean (Academic)
The Faculty of Law is pleased to announce that Professor S茅bastien Jodoin will serve as Associate Dean (Academic) until 1 June 2025. Professor Helge Dedek will then succeed him, beginning his previously announced term as Associate Dean (Academic).
These appointments follow the recent nomination of Professor Tina Piper, Associate Dean (Academic), as interim dean for the Faculty of Law.
Holder of the Canada Research Chair in Human Rights, Health and the Environment, Professor S茅bastien Jodoin has been a member of the Faculty鈥檚 senior leadership as Associate Dean (Research) since 2024. He will continue to serve in this role in addition to his new responsibilities for the rest of the winter semester.
A full professor, Helge Dedek holds the Wainwright Chair in Civil Law. His outstanding commitment to pedagogy and his students鈥� success earned him the John W. Durnford Award for Teaching Excellence in 2021.
