Introduction to PostGreSQL - Part 2
Overview:ÌýIn this workshop you will build on your skills acquired in the Introduction to PostGreSQL. We will go into more depth of SQL commands, like indexing, stacking SQL queries, further go into grouping and intersecting data, inserting and modifying data. ÌýFurther, you will learn how to work with a PostGreSQL database from either Python or R.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
•ÌýÌý Ìýunderstand the concept of using indices
•ÌýÌý Ìýuse common table expressions
•ÌýÌý Ìýgroup and intersect data
•ÌýÌý Ìýmodify data
•ÌýÌý Ìýuse PostGreSQL in combination with either a programming language like Python or R

Prerequisites:ÌýHaving PostgreSQL 17 installed on your computer. The instructor will send you information on how to do so for Mac OS, Windows and Linux. Have a basic knowledge of Python or R.ÌýPlease make sure to bring your laptop and charger.
