Introduction to PostGreSQL - Part 2

Overview:听In this workshop you will build on your skills acquired in the Introduction to PostGreSQL. We will go into more depth of SQL commands, like indexing, stacking SQL queries, further go into grouping and intersecting data, inserting and modifying data. 听Further, you will learn how to work with a PostGreSQL database from either Python or R.

At the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
鈥⑻� 听understand the concept of using indices
鈥⑻� 听use common table expressions
鈥⑻� 听group and intersect data
鈥⑻� 听modify data
鈥⑻� 听use PostGreSQL in combination with either a programming language like Python or R
听
Prerequisites:听Having PostgreSQL 17 installed on your computer. The instructor will send you information on how to do so for Mac OS, Windows and Linux. Have a basic knowledge of Python or R.听Please make sure to bring your laptop and charger.
