 ng children with epilepsy. The lecture will discuss multi-factorial causes
  of cognitive impairments with a focus on the role of transient effects of
  single interictal discharges. Novel approaches to rescue cognitive defici
 ts through AI-informed closed loop stimulation paradigms will be discussed
  with a view towards improved cognitive outcomes in affected children.\n\n
