The MFHA program is designed to provide the necessary suppor t to a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or facing a mental health crisis. MHFA teaches about recovery and resilie ncy – the belief that individuals experiencing these challenges can and do get better\, and use their strengths to stay well. Course participants wi ll learn how to recognize the signs of such a decline and learn about appr oaches to encourage a person to:\n\n\n Talk about declines in their mental well-being and\n Reach out to professionals and other supports to help in t heir recovery towards improved mental well-being\n\n\n \n\nThe upcoming MF HA training is being offered on:\n\n\n Module 1 (2 hours – a self-directed module)\n Module 2 - February 24\, 2025\, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.\n Module 3 - February 25\, 2025\, 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.\n\n\n \n\nParticipants must complete the three modules and attend both sessions on February 24 and Feb ruary 25\, 2025\, to get certified.\n\n \n\nThe MHFA Standard Virtual Prog ram – An 8-hour course with 3 modules:\n\nModule 1 (2-hours – a self-direc ted module)\n\nThis module focuses on the information and strategies that participants will discuss and practice throughout the virtual classroom se ssions (Modules 2 and 3).
