DESCRIPTION:The 4th  annual national Rights Watch conference is hosted by t
 he  Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) and the Centre for Human  
 Rights and Legal Pluralism at ´ó·¢²ÊƱƽ̨.  This year's conference has invited 
 wide range of national and  international speakers to share their perspect
 ives on numerous facets of  civil liberties.  The conference is designed t
 o  expose  law  students\, lawyers and  those interested in civil libertie
 s and human  rights issues to the  important public interest cases and iss
 ues that are  constantly arising  in our society and encourage them to thi
 nk critically about  these  issues.  Prominent speakers from academic inst
 itutions\, law firms\,  government  and public interest organizations are 
 invited to  participate to get as  wide a perspective on these issues as p
